Finding things
Finds the right thing even when nobody used the same words.
01 / 02
Matches what someone meant, not the exact words they typed.
01
Searches your own material, not only the open web.
02
Puts the ones that actually answer the question first.

Ordinary search matches words. A customer writes that the thing "won't hold a charge", your help page is headed "battery life", and the search returns nothing, because not one word is the same. Anyone who has searched their own files, tickets or product range knows the feeling.
This matches meaning instead. Ask for something warm for a toddler in November and the fleece comes back, without anyone having tagged it that way. Ask what the policy is on late delivery and it finds the paragraph that says it, whatever the heading above it happens to be called.
It still uses the exact words when the exact words are the point — an order number, a part code, a surname. Both run at once and the results are ordered by which actually answers the question. Today it covers your own site and anything you give it; as each connection opens, the same search reaches inside that too.

Research
The job that takes an afternoon, finished while you do something else.
- Takes a question that needs an afternoon and finishes it on its own.
- Goes and finds what it was missing rather than stopping.
- Comes back with the answer and everywhere it came from.
Watching
One question, watched, and a message only when the answer changes.
- Watches a question and tells you when the answer changes.
- Stays quiet when nothing changed, so an alert means something.
- Prices, competitors, listings, rules, availability.
Using websites
The places with no other way in, used the way a person would use them.
- Uses a website the way a person does when there is no other way in.
- Fills the form, clicks the button, reads the result.
- Reaches suppliers and portals that were never built to be connected.
